Persona 5 Royal new trailer focuses on Ann Takamaki, showing new attacks and more

Persona 5 Royal Ann

A new Persona 5 Royal trailer has been released today, focusing on one of the game’s playable characters,  Ann Takamaki, one of the first team members to join the Joker.

The Trailer

The character trailer for Ann shows Morgana giving her flowers and the two adopting a design that is similar to a romance scene in a shojo manga. It’s likely that this is part of one of the new team attacks in the game, as there is one showcased at the end of the trailer which seems to be in the same location. The new footage for Persona 5: The Royal shows a character who is almost certainly a human version of Morgana, so it’s possible that a romance could potentially be on the cards for both characters. Lots of cool characters are also present in BLess Unleashed where you can buy Star Seeds currency buy acquire and upgrade your gear.

Ann Takamaki

Ann is the very first member of the Phantom Thieves encountered by protagonist Joker upon his arrival in Tokyo (though it’s more a passing glance than an encounter). Ann is a beautiful young woman, a trait that brings both attention and scorn from her peers. Endlessly optimistic, Ann’s cheerful demeanor and spirit gloss over a soul pierced with doubt and guilt. Once she discovers her calling with The Phantom Thieves, Ann discovers a new sense of self, becoming a trusted ally in Mementos and the beating heart of The Phantom Thieves in the real world.

Persona 5 Royal launches exclusively for PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 31, 2019 and sometime in 2020 in the West.
