Bungie’s Thursday stream has confirmed than the next chapter of Destiny 2 is called Shadowkeep, but as it turned out, the studio has more plans on their popular shooter.
Destiny 2: New Light
Actually they plan to release a Destiny 2 free to play version called New Light this fall. The new version will contain the base game with the Cabal Red War campaign as well as the Leviathan raids. Also all content from the Curse of Osiris and Warmind DLCs will be added. In case you want to get the Shadowkeep content you need to purchase it separately. And you still have to pay for the Forsaken expansion and the annual pass, which included three smaller content drops, that came after it.
The Destiny 2 free-to-play leak has come earlier from a Reddit post that was copy-pasted. No caches or archives of the original article were found, but Bungie confirmed that Destiny 2: New Light is going to hit us this September.
Bungie also has announced that it will bring Destiny 2 to a new platform, Google Stadia.
