Dying Light 2 postpones release to 2022

The game Dying Light 2 is highly anticipated by the survival community. However, the release has now been postponed again. The reason given by the developers is that they still want to fine-tune it.

When will Dying Light 2 be released? As the developers announced on Twitter, Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be released on February 4, 2022. This means that the release will be postponed by another 3 months. It was originally supposed to be released in 2020, then it was postponed to December 7, 2021.

Why is the game being postponed? According to the official announcement, the survival game should be finished and is already being tested internally, but the fine-tuning still needs to be worked on.

The game is set to be by far the largest and most ambitious TECHLAND project. That is why the decision was made to postpone it. The studio has worked on titles like Dead Island and Call of Juarez in the past.

When will there be new information about the game itself? Anyone looking forward to Dying Light 2 should be able to expect new information in October. The developers announced that content creators and the press will be able to try out the survival game in the coming month. They can then share their experiences with interested players. There should also be a big announcement in September. What exactly awaits you is not yet known.

For which platforms is Dying Light 2 released? Dying Light 2 appears for the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, as well as PS4 and Xbox One. Same platform as Destiny 2 Power. On PC you will have the choice between Steam and the Epic Store.

What kind of game is that anyway? Dying Light 2 will be a new survival co-op game that, like its predecessor, emphasizes course inserts, strong graphics and story.

Dying Light 2 takes place 15 years after the apocalypse of the first part and tells the story in the future of the earth. You are Aiden Caldwell, an infected survivor looking for answers to the questions of his past. To do this, you travel to one of the last human settlements that still exist on earth. You try to survive, but quickly find out that the world is simply overrun with zombies. However, you shouldn’t have to know Dying Light in order to understand the second part and have fun with it.

How has Dying Light 2 developed so far? More sluggish. The game was announced in 2018 and there was now almost a year of complete radio silence. Since the beginning of 2021 there have been new insights into the gameplay or the combat system of Dying Light 2.

What about you? Do you fancy Dying Light 2? Or are you waiting for another survival title?
